Non-stocked Goods
Thinking of items from the standpoint of inventory, they are divided into two: the items to be sent via a warehouse and the ones to be sent from one process directly to another. The former is called Inventory Goods, while the latter is called Non-stocked Goods. The Non-stocked Goods are basically controlled at the manufacturing site and are transferred directly from one process to the next process. Such items are mostly exclusive goods, for which Lot sizing are not performed. Thus the quantity of upper-level order is taken over to the non-stocked goods' order as it is. When items are actually transferred from one process to another process, or one division to another division, a transfer slip is used.
