Indented Where-used Bill of Materials

It is also called Indented Implosion Bill of Materials, and is the bill of materials which the upper-level items of the given item are displayed by level according to their structure, and is used to consider how the standardization of the parts, the engineering change, and the cost change influence on the product, and to grasp how the loss of items influences. In the example shown in the figure, when Item "イ" is specified, its Parent Item a is first displayed, and next the Parent Item X of Item a is displayed. Item "イ" is also commonly used and thus Item c is displayed in the same manner. Indented Where-used Bill of Materials is created using Indented Implosion among several explosion methods. In this method, the bill of materials showing a structure is searched level by level from bottom (materials) to top (product), mainly using the connection of Where-used Chain to search the upper-level items. The Indented Bill of Materials (and Indented Where-used Bill of Materials as well) usually employs the way of level indication. In the Indented Where-used Bill of Materials, the level of the item which requests the explosion is set "0" and the item set to the highest level (level 2 in the figure) is the product.
