In Process Item

It means an item in the manufacturing process. Products have been produced through various manufacturing processes, and in-process items are being in line on each process. These items are usually called "In Process Item". All items except the items grasped as inventory can be also regarded as In Process Item. In Process Item is treated in the same manner as Released Order in MRP.
