It is an item which is an intangible presence and is set in a pseudo manner in order to make the plan easy to implement, or to improve the efficiencies of data processing and data storage. A Kit Item or Dummy Item is a kind of Pseudo item. As shown in the figure, although the number of product structure is ten in the actual bill of materials, only eight product strucrues are needed in case of using Pseudo Items.
