Pseudo Bill of Materials
It is a Bill of Materials where Pseudo Items which are not present as tangible items in actual engineering and production are set for the purpose of planning.
The examples using this scheme are as follows:
- Planning Bill of Materials
- a bill of materials where Pseudo Items (planning items) are set in order to make forecast and production planning easy to implement
- Dummy Bill of Materials:
- a bill of materials where Pseudo Items (dummy items) are set in order to reduce management work /the amount of data of the same item structure
- Kit Bill of Materials:
- a bill of materials where Pseudo Items (kit items) are set in order to handle small parts in one group
- Option Bill of Materials:
- a bill of materials where Pseudo Items (option-group items) are set in order to handle option parts in one group
