Quotations

Quotations

It refers to the inquiries made by customers or the sales division, regarding whether the specifications, price, delivery date, or quantity of the item can be producible or not. In the production division, whether the product is producible or not, and whether the delivery date is acceptable or not are considered based on the quotations obtained by the inquiries. The following matters are considered:

* Whether it is a standard item or not
* If it is a custom-made item, whether it is producible only with in-house techniques or not, and whether the technical support is rapidly available from the outside (subcontractors and other factories) or not
* Whether assemblies, especially intermediate stock goods (main materials), have enough inventory or not, or whether they are quickly procured or not
* Whether the assembling process has enough capacity (machine, facility, workers, and etc.) or not, or the outside production capacity is available or not
* Whether the quoted price is appropriate or not
