Single Level Explosion
It is a explosion scheme used to create Single Level Bill of Materials by exploring items (children) of one lower level of the given item. In the example in the figure, when the explosion of Item X is requested, the data of Item X is first retrieved, and Product Structure X-a is explored through Chain ([1]), and then Child item a is referred ([2]) through Where-used Chain. Next Child item b is referred by performing the same procedure starting Product Structure X-b.
