Single Level Implosion

Single Level Implosion

It is a explosion scheme used to create Single Level Where-used Bill of Materials by exploring items (parents) of one upper level of the given item. In the example in the figure, when the implosion of Item b is requested, the data of Item b is first retrieved, and Product Structure X-b is referred through Where-used Chain ([1]), and then Parent item X is explored ([2]) through Chain. Next Parent item Y is explored by performing the same procedure starting Product Structure Y-b.
