Inspection Lead Time
It means the hours and days necessary for various inspections made in the manufacturing process. Generally speaking, it is a constituent element of Purchased Lead Time or Subcontract Lead Time, and refers to the time taken to make the Acceptance Inspection for purchased parts or subcontract goods after they are delivered from suppliers and their receiving procedures are done. However the Inspection Lead Time of all purchased and subcontract goods is not set, and in other words, it is unnecessary to consider the Inspection Lead Time for goods with no inspection necessary.
