Unit Cost

Unit Cost

It refers to the purchasing price for purchased parts, while the subcontract processing cost for subcontract goods. The unit cost is determined by the relationship between item and its supplier like the relation of "how much does it cost, if buying item A from supplier B". Unit cost generally changes depending on the order quantity and the order time, and thus unit cost is set by order quantity or order time.
