Production Schedule
Production Schedule, Schedule Plan
It is to make a schedule of production activities for products, assemblies, and manufactured goods for a certain period. This is performed in each planning phase such as production planning, material planning, and manufacturing planning. Some of scheduled production activities are performed in each field, or for some of them the purchasing logistics is performed. The production schedule generally has tow types: make-to-stock production schedule or make-to-order one, which is created for each level of items such as products and assemblies. In MRP, based on the production schedule shown in the production plan, the production schedule for the product and its lower-level items are created. The production schedule may be used as the same meaning as that of schedule plan.
