High-Mix Low-Volume Production
Looking from the standpoint of the product's type and quantity, the production system where quite many types of products are produced, but the volume per one type is less is called High-Mix Low-Volume Production. Actually, in the case of the make-to-order-type Job Production, this method is very popular.
