Corrective Maintenance CM

It is a kind of facility maintenance, referring to the constitutional improvement of facility itself whose emphasis is placed on maintainability. It includes engineering improvement to prolong the facility life, and equipment improvement to make the time required for inspection and repair shorter. It can be said to be an improvement method for the purpose of quicker maintenance by analyzing the causes of failure. This method is used when the decrease in maintenance cost or degradation loss cost is higher than improvement cost.
