Interoperation Transport Time
It is also called travel time, and refers to the time which taken from the end of pre-process to the arrival at the next process through transportation. Although this time can be almost ignored depending on the deployment of machine, but generally speaking, poor transportation may lead to unfavorable situations including delayed work-in-process, increased defects such as damage, decreased productivity of factory workers. Therefore it is required to minimize the transport distance, maintain a certain amount of transportation, and mechanize/automate the transportation work. It includes waiting time for transportation in addition to transportation time.
